At Simless we are committed to respect and protect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we may collect, store
and use personal information, as well as the rights you have over any personal information we hold about you.

Data security

Simless implements strict technical and organizational measures in order to protect the information you provide us.

Whenever you enter transaction or login information, during checkout and payment, signing in to your account or while updating your account, you will notice this is done using web pages which their URL address begins with https (instead of http). These pages send us the information you input using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, which means the information is encrypted and cannot be intercepted or read by anyone as it travels from your computer to our secure servers. By clicking on the padlock icon that appears in your browser’s URL window whenever you visit a secure webpage, you can see that the certificate authority has verified the identity of the website, signed its SSL certificate and that the connection of all https pages is encrypted using 256-bit encryption.

The information you send us is being stored on highly secure servers in our data center and protected by multiple security layers, including firewalls, brute-force protection, server side security modules and regular security audits.

Please note that your transaction information, such as credit/debit card details, is not being stored on our servers. It is being processed directly by our payment service provider. Therefore, from the moment you enter your credit/debit card details on our website, only the payment service provider can see those details and store them on their secure servers.

Information we collect from you

When you register on the website or order products we may ask you for your name, billing address, email address and phone number.
We will also ask you to create a password for your account (passwords are kept encrypted on our servers).
Those details are being collected by us so we could process, fulfill and deliver your orders, provide you with after-sales service and technical support, contact you regarding your order, send you promotional messages – if you have asked us to, identify you as the account holder, detect fraud and comply with legal requirements.

We will not use your email address or phone number to send you promotional and marketing messages, offers or newsletters, unless you have explicitly asked us to send it.

If you are a registered user, from time to time we may send you an email to let you know about important changes to Simless policies or services.

When you order products from us you will also have to enter your payment details, although we do not store credit/debit card details.
They are being processed directly by our Payment Service Provider and stored by them on their secure servers.

When you send emails, write or phone our Customer Service, we will keep record of your correspondence with us and your contact details.

When you visit our website we may record your IP address in order to remember your preferences and selections, to serve you relevant content, for statistics and for security purposes.

Like most websites, we use cookies that allow your browser to remember your preferences and selections, keep you logged in, to compare products, add items to the shopping cart and to fulfill many other functions. You can learn more about the use of cookies in the section below.

If you choose to take part in a customer survey we will collect aggregate data with no personal details.
We use aggregate data to manage, develop and improve the website and our customers experience.

What about sharing information?

We will never sell your personal information, including your email address and phone number, to any third party, not for the purpose of sending you marketing messages and not for any other use.

We may use third parties to perform some services on our behalf. In such cases they may have limited access to certain personal information and use it only to perform the specific authorized task. This may include order processing, supply and delivery of products to you, payment processing and customer support. These third parties too are under strict obligation to keep your personal information secure.

To ensure that your credit/debit card is not being used without your consent and to prevent fraud, your name and address may be validated during the order process against appropriate third party databases.

In addition, where the law requires us to disclose personal information we will do so in accordance with the law and regulations.

How to view or amend your personal information

You can view and amend most of the personal information you have provided us by visiting the ‘My Account’ section on our platform, while signed in.

You may also write to us and request that we amend any inaccuracies in your personal information and we will do so.

If you would like to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, please contact us with your request.
We will verify your identity and provide you with that information.

In essence, cookies are created in order to enhance your online experience and to allow many advanced functions of websites.
For example, they allow your browser to remember your preferences and selections, keep you signed in, allow you to add and save items to the shopping cart, enjoy a customized user experience, interact with social apps and fulfil many other functions.
Cookies are not harmful to your computer and we do not store any personally identifiable information in the cookie data.
Some cookies expire when you close your browser window, while other cookies expire after days or weeks.

The cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential in order to enable you to navigate in secure sections of our website and use its features. Without these cookies, services you have asked for (e.g. adding products to the shopping cart) cannot be provided.

Performance cookies

These cookies collect information about how visitors use our website, for instance which pages visitors go to most often and if they get error messages from web pages. These cookies do not collect personal information that identifies a visitor. All the information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. The information collected is only used to improve how our website works.

Functionality cookies

These cookies allow our website to remember choices you make (such as your user name, language or the region you are in) and to provide enhanced and more personal features. They can also be used to remember changes you have made to parts of our website that you can customize. The information these cookies collect is anonymized and cannot track your activity on other websites.

Targeting or advertising cookies

These cookies are used to deliver adverts more relevant to you and your interests. They can also be used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement as well as help measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign. They can be placed on your device by us or by a third party with our consent. Where they are placed by us, they may be used only by us to deliver adverts more relevant to you. When placed by a third party with our consent, they may be used by that third party and other parties to deliver adverts more relevant to you and your interests. For example, where you choose to link to various social networks (such as Facebook and Twitter) via our website, these social network sites may place cookies on your device and use these to target advertising to you on their or other websites.

Third party cookies

When you visit our website you may notice some cookies that aren’t related to Simless. If you go on to a webpage that contains embedded content, for example sharing tools from Facebook and Twitter or videos from YouTube, you may be sent cookies from these websites. We do not control the setting of these cookies, therefore you may want to check the third party website for more information about their cookies and about their privacy policy.

How to manage cookies

Most web browsers would have cookies enabled by default and, although you have the option to disable cookies in your browser, you should be aware that disabling necessary cookies from our website means you would not be able to add items to the shopping cart and to purchase products, but only to browse and view products. If you would like to disable or restrict cookies in your browser (such as only third party cookies) you can do so by changing the settings of your browser. The location of the cookies settings is different from one browser to another and indeed from each browser version to another. You can use the Help menu in your browser to learn how to change the cookies settings in your specific browser.
